I have to tell you; this is some of the best customer service I have ever received. I truly appreciate you.  This is on top of having an excellent product.You have no idea how long I’ve searched for the perfect pound cake that matches my memories.  I make a pretty mean pound cake myself, however it’s a lot of work. Work I really don’t enjoy doing.  I have tried Janie’s, various pound cakes on Goldbelly and Etsy.
Then I came across Miss Dotties; home run!!  Your pound cake is amazing, and my search has ended. So, I thank you for your stellar product and your inordinate care to details.

We simply LOVE Miss Dottie’s Pound Cakes!!! They are so moist and delicious and they make great gifts as they are packaged beautifully and everyone is so excited to receive them!! When we aren’t busy gifting them we are buying them to enjoy ourselves! I made an order an entered a shipping address for the recipient whose office was in the middle of a relocation. The local FedEx deliver said the address I used would no longer receive deliveries and the package would not be received. Miss Dottie’s notified me of the situation and researched the correct shipping address for me. Because the original order would have been sitting at the FedEx warehouse for several days and maybe become stale, I ordered a new package to be mailed to the new address and Miss Dottie’s generously offered to pay half of the shipping fees for the second order. Then, both packages arrived at my friend’s office and Miss Dottie’s called them to let them know what happened and which package was the freshest. My friend was pleased and I was blown away by the customer service Miss Dottie showed me. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to send a thoughtful gift. They go above and beyond to make sure their product is top notch!

After hearing a lot of rave reviews from a local Facebook mom’s group, I ordered three different flavors of Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake. My memories of poundcake were very dry and crumbly cakes that needed strawberries or sauce or something. The Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake is nothing like the mass-produced stuff you get in a grocery store. A good writer can make almost anything sound appetizing, but the taste of Miss Dottie’s pound cakes actually meets and exceeds their written descriptions. We tried the original vanilla, lemon, and chocolate chip. My husband loved the chocolate chip, the vanilla is clearly made with the highest quality ingredients and the lemon has a real lemon flavor that actually comes through. Every single flavor was incredibly moist. If anyone bought this cake then tried to pull it off as being homemade by them, they would get busted because you know everyone would ask for the recipe! It’s just that good. On top of a great tasting product, the presentation is perfect… well wrapped, clearly labeled and with a bow that matches the flavor. I’ve already placed my order for a large peanut butter chocolate chip poundcake for an upcoming family gathering, but the individual cakes make the perfect hostess/birthday/get well/baby gift or a sweet delivery for a friend who needs a pick-me-up.

I ordered the three mini pound cake combo pack for my sister-in-law’s birthday and she couldn’t be happier! The ordering process was easy-peasy and they wrote out a personalized note for me as well!!! Arrived in only two days, couldn’t be happier.

I heard she was adding Halloween candy and sending it to the troops along with her pound cakes so I messaged her to see if she wanted our leftover candy. When she offered to pick the candy up from my home, I ordered the traditional pound cake as a treat for my family. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered and what a treat it is!! Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake is not only the best tasting cake out there, but the professionalism and care for the customer is above and beyond! Rarely in my life have I felt like I am truly being cared about as a customer by a company as I felt with Tassie from Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake. I was ordering a cake for my dad’s 79th birthday, and not only was I offered a very reasonable price for shipping to Las Vegas, NV, but when there was a shipping mishap that would have caused the cake to not be delivered on time for my dad’s birthday, Tassie took it upon herself to make sure that my cake would arrive on time! Never in my life would I have thought someone that I have never even met before would do this for me! I am forever greatful and will always be appreciative for Tassie and Miss Dottie’s Pound Cake’s superior customer service and truly from the heart kindness! Wonderful cake that arrived safe and sound to the west coast and beautiful and loving company! I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! Time to celebrate with a cake that my dad says “…tastes like the cakes my mama would make back home in Mississippi when I was young!”
